LPG conversion, valve cover leaking.

i had a lpg conversion done on my 2008 rav4 2 years ago, around that time my valve cover started sweating oil.

called up the mechanic who did it and he said he didn't remove the valve cover, my question is, do you need to remove the valve cover to do a lpg conversion? because there also seems to be silicone gasket, which i suspect isn't original as i don't think toyota uses silicone gaskets. i've owned the car since new and never had anything done there.

should i buy a original toyota gasket? or can i use  high temp silicone gasket ( i already have some) so if it's all the same i might as well use the silicone
