Instrument panel and infotainment screen going black

2023 BZ4X 11,000 miles. Instrument panel and infotainment screen intermittently goes totally black. Sometimes it will switch between normal and totally black approximately every 5 minutes. Other times it may remain black all day.
Contacted dealer who recommended I bring the car to their service department. Intended to do that today, but on the way to dealer all appeared normal. Stopped and called the service department. They informed me they could do nothing to remedy the situation if screens are normal when I arrive at dealership.
Service department recommended that I bring car in when screen is black. Very hard to do when the problem is intermittent.
Have any members of this forum experienced any similar problems; and if so what was your solution.
thank you.

Equally it is very hard to diagnose an issue if the fault isn't there when the car is presented to the dealer ....

Have you checked that nothing is blocking the light sensor. Sounds like it's switching to night mode because it thinks it's dark outside?
