I can't seem to find wind deflectors for my Yaris Excel 2024 anywhere

Reduced compared to what? You didn't specify? If you mean are they quieter with the window ajar without deflectors fitted, then the answer is yes, very much so.

Sorry - do they reduce noise when driving with windows closed ?

No and why would they? That's not what they are designed to do. Their only "raison d'être" is to allow you to have the windows ajar whilst largely preventing wind and rain from entering the car...

Just to be clear, they do not add any extra wind noise when the windows are closed.

they actually can reduce wind noise if you have a leaky seal that then gets protected from the airstream

Good point but in 3 successive Yarises I have never experienced a leaky seal like that...
