Can any of you kind people tell me if I can display the current and/or average mpg on the dash screen please? I know I can do it on the multimedia screen but don’t want to alter that from satnav while driving.

Ive had the car 3 months now and only just discovered I can have a rev counter 😂

Yes you can display current average, trip average in either left middle or right information areas. Hold left ok button then up to get to settings then select which dial you want left or right then cycle through the different options to find average. This is how I have mine.

Thanks Ralph, my Speedo display has only one dial, but a few seconds of button pressing revealed the appropriate menu 👍

Having found the mpg meter I am disappointed to find it only records the current trip. If you forget to look before switching off the data is lost. I was interested to see what effect a trip on the motorway at a steady 70 had on the economy, but neither the app or the economy screen on the multi media recorded the journey 🤷🏻‍♂️. I’m back to the old school method of writing the mileage on my petrol receipts and working the mpg out for myself 🙄

It would be lovely if all this tech actually worked 😡

1.  Set display to “total mpg ….”

2. Press “reset” to zero it

3. Check figure after the trip will give you the figure…

Ok, thank you Graham, I will try to find that but as far as I remember I only had the trip option.

i am going to have to sit in the car with a large sheet of paper and a pen, scroll through all the options and draw a map!

Before you exit the car (after pressing the stop button) isn’t there a trip summary showing in the centre of the dash display?

Possibly, but it is usually covered by that ruddy warning to check you haven’t left luggage/kids/grandma in the back 🙄 And I think it depends on what you have selected to display 🤷🏻‍♂️

The change between the single journey & total MPG is within the setting controls under economy (I think), not the display settings. It is a challenge!!!

Press the back button on the steering wheel to hide any alerts

I think my main problem is that my last car was a 10 year old Kia Sorento, much simpler and intuitive. I miss those lovely big leather seats too 🙄

That warning can be removed by pressing the "return/back" button, if you are quick enough, and it will reveal your journey stats...

The "C" button in this diagram

Note: this is after you have turned everything OFF

I was doing this then made the mistake off pressing it before I switched off and wiped my mpg since I got the car. Is there anywhere I can see this now.

Only via “trips” data on MyT App.

Doing as I suggested will only have shown you the last trip stats after you switched off. The only way to "wipe" the overall mpg is to purposely do it via the meter on the display and you have to purposely long press the "ok" button to zero it. So, I suspect that it is still there if you haven't done that...

Thanks but I did long press it by accident as I was talking and was trying to switch off the back seat reminder. Did it before switching off!

I’ve looked on the app but can only see individual trips not a total since I got the car from new. Probably missing something.

Click on overview but the app only shows you the current month. I don’t think it stores the total.

The option to display this is in the media screen.

Been playing with the app and found it actually has 3 months worth of data if you click the month it shows 3 months to pick from.

I’m assuming the single display settings set up works in a similar way…

Thank you folks, I have managed to negotiate all the menus and sub menus to get the total mpg displayed 👍 But what a faff!

With me only having the one gauge in the Design I only have one display area, so can just display one thing at a time. However, now it is set and I know where to find it ( the little leaf icon 🙄) I can consult it at my leisure.

Below is the first draft of my idiots guide to button pressing 😂IMG_0186.thumb.jpeg.1357d3e2c12e76f5804ce09266b0baee.jpeg

Tried this but silly me has lost the history from when I got the car by pressing and holding the ok before switching off. It’s set on total average and I’m now building back up to where I was. Thanks anyway as I found some settings I didn’t know were there.

When I set mine from trip to total the number remained the same (64.7). Either I am very constant on the throttle or it only started recording after I had set it 🤷🏻‍♂️
