Hello All

Info Needed. My son just picked up a 1987 Subra that is Turbo charged. The problem he is having is. After the car has been runing for 45 min to and hour. It is very hard to start. For instance he get out come back 10 min's and almost seems like he has flooded the engine. Is there a fix for this or does he live with this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated

May send e-mail to cosmos_01@sympatico.ca :(

It sounds like heat soak... basically fuel is evaporated before it gets chance to be ignited properly (due to the engine temp increasing after you turn the car off).. causing poor starting. Its normal operation and theres nothing you can do.. perhaps the subaru is more prone to it than other cars.

I think it is meant to say supra, not subaru.
