If you couldn’t work again due to accident or illness, How much do you have to live on in an emergency?

Not counting any insurances, could you cope with the bills credit cards mortgage car etc etc.

Or are you like me and spend spend spend and have nothing for a rainy day?!! :crybaby:

Well I can speak from first hand experience here. I've been out of work since march and being previously self employed have not eligible to benefits. Of course I'm looking for work but (get your violins out) at my age it seems to be hard to get someone to take me on and the line of work I do is rapidly being shipped out to places like India so I dont hold out much hope there.

I've used up what little was in the company, sold my MR2 and spent that (on silly stuff like food ,bills and mortages). Anyway now that I'm practically skint I'm hoping they will at least let me sign on , otherwise------anyone want to buy a house in whats officially the worst town in England----LUTON.
