How can that be if the celica has a double-wishbone (independent) rear suspension and the corolla has a torsion beam (is classed semi-dependent i think)?

The CTS's rear was done on the cheap ... bit of a shame

Well no hot hatch has it's own (different from the mainflow hatch) suspension type!!!!

The Civic itself has a multi-link rear, so the CTR's got it aswell!!!

It would be too expensive to engineer a different suspension for different versions of the car!

Exon16,

From what little I know a Focus RS has a trick front LSD. But I think the rear suspension is the same basic set up as the normal cooking Focus's. As in contol blade fully independent rear suspension, just with uprated dampers, springs & anti roll bars. And still only front wheel drive as they never did bring out the four wheel drive version that was muted about sometimes.
