T2?

Hi guys I live in South Africa and drive a RunX RSi or a T-Sport as you would know it.

I see alot of you talking about a corolla T2 or T3 what model is this? Can someone post a pic maybe?

I'm very happy with the performance of my car and have just had it lowered so the ride and handling is awesome!!!

T2 and T3 are other models that are below T SPORT so don't don't worry you still have the highest spec Corolla (That is if the Japanese haven't done a supercharged version for the home market like they did with the AE92 GTi).

They look the same as the rest of the modern range but available in 2 and 4 door (oops sorry should say 3 and 5 door but who uses a tailgate as a door i've no idea!).

You forgotten the T-Spririt , inbetween the T3 and T-Sport...

The T2 is a basic corolla, with very with very little features or extras

T3 has a few extras, can't remember what, but a few little luxuries.

T-Spirit is everything electric, like all elec windowns, sunroof, climate control that sort of thing

And then the T-Sport which you got, hope that helps.

T2, T3, T spirit.......................... these are only "signs"(like S, SLX, GTI, CD, LX.....) for different level/type of equipment in the car( UK an Ireland).

OK .. so what engines do the T2 and T3 use??

In SA the base unit is the 140 RT (71kw/96hp) then you get a 160RS and 160RX(81kw/109hp) , 180RX (100kw/134hp) then the RSi (T Sport) -141kw/189hp ...

hey another one from S.A wonder how many of us there are on TOC

I dont know if you guys know this but our spec and trim in S.A is much lower than

in the UK if you do a direct comp. between the t-sport and the RSI you will see

From what I can gather (and I'm probably wrong)

160RS or RX is about equivalent to T2

180RX is equivalent to T3
