Can anybody help,

I have recently purchased a toyota paseo and would like to modify it, does anybody know anywhere that remotely specialises in performance parts for a Paseo, I can find places in the USA but I wasn't sure if these would fit on a UK model. Also, can anybody tell me if I could lower it 40mm on 17" wheels without anything rubbing, I have looked on the internet but have not had much luck.

Thanks

Hey, there's not much about for the Paseo in the UK,

i'm guessing you have a 96- Gen 2 model? US parts will fit there are only trim differences between the US & UK models.

If so there are a few kits about, Booster Tuning (Via UK importers), Onderground (Canadian), X-racing (Austrailia).

For lowering springs Pi do a -40mm kit, 'mellowyellow' runs this with 17's but i think he had to shave part of the arches to stop them rubbing.

There are some bits around you just need to look hard!!!

Hope this helps -

97paseo pretty much covered everything. 17's fit stock seos without rubbing but lowered im not to sure..

make sure when you order the parts that you check if their for the 1st gen or 2nd, 1st gens are 92-96 i think & 2nd gens are 97-99

anyways welcome to the paseo world & have fun.

any q's just ask... www.paseopimp.com is another good place for info. just watch out for those yanks, they can be strange sometimes :D

  • 3 weeks later...

You won't start to rub on 17's until you lower your car more than 2 inches. What up J? :D

mine is dropped 40 mil on 17s, i only used to get scrubbage from right near the back of the rear arch near the bumper... nothin a chisel didnt sort out....

i guess oli doesnt have this problem cos hes runnin upgraded shocks too? i couldnt find spax springs, so im guessing they are the dampers too. or have they got coilovers for the seo now?

hey oli, u gotta drop a few pics on this site of your motor man.... the profile sounds ace!
