How To Remove Belly Pan?

I went to go change my girlfriends oil in her 2001 gt-s, and found that the bottom of the car was protected with a plastic belly pan. How do I remove this? From the look of it, there is a special tool to take it off, but I was unsure and didnt want to destroy it by pulling it off by hand. Can someone tell me how to remove that thing....all I want to do is change the oil.
