Previa Dash Light

The bulb illuminating the dash has fused and Toyota say I need to change the whole dash as the bulb (looks like a small flourescent tube) cannot be replaced.

Anyone know if this is correct?

If not where can I get a bulb from and if it is true any contacts for getting hold of a new dash.

The bulb illuminating the dash on my rolla fused recently. I removed the dash to investigate where the bulbholder was located and got some new bulbs from a local spare shop.The bulbholder was located behind the heater control panel ,yours may be somewhere else.

My 1991 Pervia instrument lights are burning out one by one. Is there an easy way go gain access to them or do I need to remove the whole instrument panel?
