Hi, I have an 2001 Avensis 1.8 GS auto, bought two months ago, 15K miles. I don't use the car much, as I commute by bicycle. This afternoon Battery was completly flat. Anyone know if I can simply remove the Battery for recharge in the garage, or will it cause problems with aircon, radio, airbags etc. if removed? Many thanks.

should be fine remove and re fit dont forget diconect negative first reconect last any doubt contact a dealer

Thanks Dawsey. I will take the Battery out today, for a long trickle charge. I must admit I am relieved, it seems Toyota are trying to make things easier for owners. I will post a reply if things don't go smoothly.
