guys on gt4oc recon anything bigger than 16 on the gt4 screws the drive shafts up over time , dunno how or why.maybe there is a slight tilt on em going to the wheel centre.?? there is a few breaking gt4's on there too , you'll get a gearbox off there if you ask , i priced a few for you near where i live most are around 500 quid.

Yeah. Camber gets screwed. Wears tyres out in no time. Fortunately i`ve got a good supplier. Thanks for the info on g/box. It`s quiter now with slick 50 in it. But 1st is still a bit whiney.

Actually wheels over 16" Dont mess up anything. Im running 18"x8" OZ superleggeras on my ST205 (gen6 GT4) with 225/40R18 tires. This causes NO problems whatsoever (except they're damn expensive ;-) )

What you do have to take care about is.....

1. Caliper Clearance (for the nice 4 pots up front)

2. Same size rubber all round

3. Offset.

4. Keep the rolling radius as close as possible (max 3% out as a rule of thumb)

5. Get the right centre bore/adaptor (this is to centre the wheel on the hub)

Changing the wheels does not affect camber, Only badly lowering without getting the tracking/allignment sorted does.
