Tried it a couple of weeks ago. Very slick for a govt IT project, surprisingly, no messing with insurance certificates or id. It's all checked electronically if you give permission.

New tax disc comes in a couple of days.

Not all working yet though..

I was doing the SORN thing for the Sera, went to the online addy as stated in the renewal and it wouldn't let me in....so I had to go to the post office ;-(

Sounds like a cool way to do it. How do they check out youre insurance though?

your insurance details can be accessed by a database, the same one that the insurace people pass around

i did mine on the 28th online,granted i dont live in the u.k.however i found it really easy to use.it's a bit creepy though when all your personal info comes up on your pc screen.
