i just wanted to know, has got this problem on their double din system.

i find it hard to pick up stations. when i want to find a new station, i push seek and the system normally just does a whole loop of the fm band and then it tunes me into the station that i was just listening to.

just wanted to know if it is a common problem

thanks

Hi

At the moment I still have the standard radio in my Corolla (2003 T Sport) (changing to a dab54 radio, when I find a wiring adapter that fits :ffs:). Depending on where I am depends on how good it picks up stations when seeking. Overall it's a bit hit & miss, 20miles either way can make all the difference (but there are some stations it never stops at). I find it easier to press the buttons on the radio it's self (so much for having remote controls on the steering wheel :ffs:).

I have the same problem with mine - tried asking in here if anyone might know what problem could be - mine had a new ecu and locks etc[some !Removed! nicked my keys] and in mean time got new car didn't drive corolla for five months and now back in her - now I have no radio. Bugger!

I've stripped out the blower below and waiting for a spare couple of hours to take head unit out and see if aeriel has been snagged/pulled out etc when swapping ECU.

If I suss it out, I'll let you know!
