Anyone p/x'd a RED T SPORT recently in CARDIFF?

I've found one for £5995, 2001, red, with 40k. Cheapest I've seen trade.

152 miles away from me though! Before I go and have a look - wondered if it formerly belonged to any member here?

Red ones are £5k-£7k alot cheaper than the rest. Check the paint work! Red tents to fade alot and needs looking after, otherwise I would get one, dere bargains.

Yeah, never bought a red car because of that reason, plus the red T Sport is not metallic is it? I've always gone for metallic paint.

If the dealer has polished it up well, then I s'pose if I keep it waxed it should be OK. Anyone had their paintwork treated? Can't remember what the stuff's called - but it's some kind of 'protective' coating? If so, costs?

They do a treatment that costs £200-£300 when you buy a car new, I went to see this Black 2nd hand one, it has a sticker in the window showing its been treated.

The name... has left my mind.

Thought it might be expensive!

Anyway, who is that in your pic!!!?

I think it's called Polish!

There are a few different products that protect the paint.. the one that springs to mind for me is Diamondbrite.. homepage ..This can be bought on eBay for around 20 quid.

It's a 2 stage glaze treatment that coats the paint it is supposed to protect it for 5 years or so.It givea a great shine too

reply to MillzE.

Back in work today - so just seen your reply.

Yep, that's the place. My parents have retired to Parcllyn, Ceridigion, so could visit them as well as look at T Sport. Shame you couldn't have given it a test drive on my behalf!
