St205 - Is It Or Is It Not...?

Hi guys,

Currently selling a ST205 GT4 (Import) and have had some1 ask whether it was "the st205,one of 2500 made for homolgomation WRC Model"

i aint got a clue as its the 1st Import GT4 i've owned (had several UK models b4)

How can i verify if it is or isn't?

simple... i come round to your house... i take the keys off your hands... and then take it for a spin..

as far as i know the wrc version has an antilag valve ( not working ) near the turbo , and a spray bar also not working.http://www.st205.net/frameset.htm under technical info.

the chassis number is also a clue.

aparentley there are a few clues that "might" indicate wether it may be a wrc homologation model,

1, high rise rear spoiler

2, small bonnet spoiler ( near the winderscreen washers) to stop bonnet flexing.

3, water spray, cant be sure without checking mine wear its located exactly, but its at the front of the engine near the radiator.

4, chasis number, gives you an indication depending on what number yours is.

5, anti lag, again not to sure were its fitted on mine but its there but not active.

there might be a couple more items that indicate wether its wrc but this is all i can think of at the moment.

Doesn't matter anyway, the WRC editions Are NOT worth any more money.....

Only ones that are (very slightly) are the later post '96 models with the thicker walled block.

but they're more expensive because they are newer.
