My Dad has an N reg Hiace, which has just had its Timing Belt changed.

But now we need to turn the timing belt switch back off.

Has anyone done this before, or know how to?

Thanks in advance,

Purvesh

TO TURN OFF TIMING BELT LIGHT. REMOVE LOWER FACIAL PANEL AND SPEEDOMETER PANEL. UNPLUG ALL SWITCHES. REMOVE 4 SCREWS HOLDING SPEEDOMETER HEAD IN. TURN TO BACK OF SPEEDO IN CENTRE OF SPEEDO PRINTED CIRCUIT YOU WILL FIND CROSSHEAD SCREW. REMOVE SCREW AND SCREW INTO THE HOLE NEXT DOOR. LEAVE THE SCREW IN THE NEW HOLE. REPLUG SPEEDO AND CONNECTIONS AND START ENGINE LIGHT WILL GO OUT IF NOT RESTART ENGINE 2 MORE TIMES REPLACE ALL PANELS.
