Falling Roof Tiles Damaged My Avensis

Hi Guys.

I am a happy Avensis owner in somewhat trouble, not from the car it's fantastic.

Heavy winds knocked some roof tiles which fell onto my car, I put in a public liability insurance against building insurance company and now they are asking me "why i have put-in a claim against them for liability?".

My car insurer has already washed their hands saying it's a God's act.

Roof tiles landed on my Avensis smashing driver side mirror and some dents on body, cheapest estimate is for 500 quid.

Don't know how to deal with building insurance company (AXA)?

Any suggestions/experience will be great help.

If you have comprehensive cover on the car you should have no trouble getting paid for the damage.

Driving head on into a lorry at 70mph is an act of god - the insurance still has to pay. They aren't supposed to use that excuse anymore.

As for House insurance - it should cover other cars but not your own.
