Hiya...

Standard is about 158Bhp on a rev 1 Mk2 NA although it does have more torque than the later revisions and weighs less as well...

Suggested first mods to look at would be a brake upgrade, not to expensive as the rev2 brakes fit straight on and help a lot. Induction Kit and Exhaust mods are easy (APEXI Induction for approx £100 and Mongoose Exhaust approx £350)...

Power gains really depend on budget and what your trying to do to the car, would suggest putting some 16" alloys on with good rubber to help with the handling before you do anything to get smoe extra performance... The NA's are pretty restricted to the power you can gain at a reasonable cost so maybe worth having a look at www.rev6.com and going for a turbo upgrade !!
