Who cares about collar and cuffs, when you've only got cuffs ;)

Are you suggesting that she shaves her head?!! thats just stoopid! :P

...natural all the way...

Anne here not Les

Having been a natural blond all my life..... I've had to live with the dumb blond jokes forever! I would prefer NOT to be blond and be accepted for myself instead, only people say I would be mad to die my hair cos 'everyone wants to be a blond'.

Dont go all blond go for highlights

;)

Thanks everyone for all your thoughts on the subject!

I havent decided - I'm going to consult my friendly neighbourhood hairdresser and see what she recommends - I need to do something though as my highlight roots are 3 inches long now!

When I left work tonight, was walking through the Shopping Centre and saw a T-Shirt hanging in a shop window which said "Blondes Have More Fun, But Brunettes Remember It The Day After"...hahahaha :D

Hey. There are gentlemen on here. It's just some of us hide it well! :D

Still think you should try going blonde, Em, just to satisfy your own curiosity. It's not like it'll be permanent and if you don't like the look, you can wear a disguise! :afro:

I voted stay brunette. Your complection looks like it would take blonde nicley, but you'll have to rethink your make-up and your wardrobe, do your roots more often and then be one of many in the crowd. Blonde also looks better on longer hair (OK, I guess that's just an opinion).

Having said that, life's too short and as someone else pointed out, maybe you should find out. Then go to an expensive make-up department and have them recommend something and make you up -- better than buying three lots of cheap stuff you don't like.

Don't you get Stargate SG1 in Finland?? :D

Is that that Amanda Tapping bird?

My mate Phil raves about her!

I like her hair in this pic!

Ok so we've established she is good looking - but what about the hair!

I like it, its a bit lighter than the colour I was looking at but I could always just have the style and have it a darker colour!

Her hair is a slightly different style in just about every episode of Stargate......doesn't seem to matter though.

If you like it then get it done. If you don't like the end product as much as you though you might it's not the end of the world, it'll grow out.

Personally I wouldn't object if more girls looked like Amanda Tapping !

I think the words below say it all Em

JUST THE WAY YOU ARE (Billy Joel)

Don't go changing, to try and please me

You never let me down before

Don't imagine you're too familiar

And I don't see you anymore

I wouldn't leave you in times of trouble

We never could have come this far

I took the good times, I'll take the bad times

I'll take you just the way you are

Don't go trying some new fashion

Don't change the color of your hair

You always have my unspoken passion

Although I might not seem to care

I don't want clever conversation

I never want to work that hard

I just want someone that I can talk to

I want you just the way you are.

I need to know that you will always be

The same old someone that I knew

What will it take 'till you believe in me

The way that I believe in you.

I said I love you, and that's forever

And this I promise from the heart

I could not love you any better

I love you just the way you are.

(With apologies to Billie Joel) :) :)

Thank you Steve - what a lovely song! :group-cuddles:

I feel like Bridget Jones now - Mark Darcy liked her just as she is - oooh feel like watching that now!

OK then......a quote from Cheryl Crow.

' A change will do you good ! '

I think citing a Billy Joel song is wholly inapropriate anyway.

I'll love you just the way you are???? This from the man who dumped Christie Brinkley because he thought her looks were fading a bit and wanted someone younger ??????????

He's just a hypocrite. Just like Barry Manilow.

I write the songs that make the whole world sing????

HE DIDN'T EVEN WRITE THAT ONE !
