I wanted to reset the ecu after the mods. I looked in my t sprt manual and found the fuse in manual known as 9 or 8 cant remember its rating was 15amp.

It was strangely known as the engine control system in manual.

I pulled it out left it for about 30secs then started engine, obviosuly didnt start.

Then i put it back in a took it for a spin.

wondering if i did it right? any ideas?

...but I think the Yaris ECU re-maps on the fly using the hundreds of sensor's it has around the engine bay (so it's pointless). If I remember correctly it has a number of pre-configured maps which the ecu switches between depending on what the sensors say (due to mods or driving style).

For example, drive like a granny for 5 miles and you'll see 45mpg and you'll be driving a sluggish car. Now boot it round some country lanes for 5 miles and you'll be driving a mean, lean, fighting machine :) Clever stuff!
