I had a great time yesterday - Thanks to those that came and said hi :)

Some very nice cars in attendance - nice to see them getting used as they should be.

I thought the track layout was good with a wide variety of corners for every type of car. The standard of driving on track was very good with a couple of exceptions, but this didn't affect the day fortunatly.

I managed to nicely scrub up a set of Eagle F1 tyres getting some quite severe beading on the rears, confirming my thoughts that the Eagle F1 is a superb fast-road tyre but gets too hot too quickly on track.

Cheers guys :)

Glad you enjoyed it and thought the track layout was good as we tried to make it interesting for all the cars going out on track

Can you pm me your exceptions as i'm trying to get all feedback good and bad so we can try to iron those out for next year, not saying we'll get it 100% right but somethings could be addressed if we are told about them

Fizz, I didn't know you were there.

I guess you met Garrick after I went home.

So has anyone got a pic of my car with the TOC sticker in?

Just want to voice what a lot of you have said. Great day!

First time on track with my skyline and I think there's a lot to learn.

Went out in a blue aw11 and he was taking bends and chicanes faster

than i can in my skyline. Thanks again, Chris( i think that's his name)

Had to retire early due to a problem with the power steering belt.

I hope i'll be able to join again even though i drive a skyline.

Thanks to the organisers and system-g.

Hi James, glad you enjoyed the spin round the track in my MK1. Must say I was blown away by the power in your Skyline, fabulous car. No repercusions from the loud pop coming out of the last corner I hope.

Oh and I figured out what the marshalls were on about with the red MR2, he'd pulled over (if a little late) to let you through.

Class event Ken et al., look forward to next year!

Chris

Chris,

the car's running as per normal. 1.5 bar and no problem

i think it just had a hiccup.

i can't remember the mr2 incident. guess i must have been too excited.

Fizz,

'cos i remember you and the blue mr2.

get the organisers to have another meet soon and you'll be my first passenger.

just remember that i'm a novice.

As Lauren & Bazza have said the interclub thing worked really well and we may well all belong to different clubs but at the end of the day we all drive Toyota's and together we can hopefully all pull together for 1 big Toyota only meet each year, possibly twice yearly once we get going :D  BTW Lauren nice to see you out on track ;) and i'll get in touch with you in the next fortnight to have a chat

Yep, very big thanx for that Ken. :D

And yep defo think we can do more with interclub days like this. If anything the variety of cars made it more interesting for all i'd say.

Let us know once you've got your feedback sorted.

cheers.

Lauren
