Rav4 "a" Bar Or Bull Bar

hi all,

i recently seen a few rav's with nice chunky abars on the front ...they look like plastic or maybe fibre glass, any idea what these are called and where i might get one ?

theyre not the ususal chrome tubing, much more chunkier !!!

I think you are talking about the standard option fit from Toyota. You'll be able to purchase one from Toyota, to fit your self, but at a price :(

My front bar is of the 'A' design, The big chunky one as you put it.

Having had a look they seem to be made of a very hard plastic with metal re-inforcing through them.

The chrome in fills top and bottom are just stick on panels. with the RAV4 logo enbossed in it.

I belive you can buy these seperate but mine was supplied as the chrome body kit with side and rear bars included.

Toyota are very bad at that, you can get an accessories list but you have to call a number to get a quote on it usually. But if you want an after market part, I'm sure your local dealers parts department could give you one.
