Right .. compared to the MR2 turbo?

Well there is no kick like in the 2 .. but the power just keeps on coming. It's on a par with my 2 I recon, I'm not sure about over the NSL, will take a trip to germany to prove that.

Driving wise, not *that* disimmilar for the moment. The engine is behind the front wheels and feels very 50/50 balanced. It's a bit sifter and progressive than the setup on my 2.

Driving is about as comfortable, but more snug, the shift is SO short and the clutch nice and light. The seats are a bit firmer and the wheel has NO adjustment. The dash is good, and gives me enough toys to play with.

The space in it is tiny compared to the 2, nothing in the front about 20% less in the boot, and no glovebox or spaces behind the seats. But it weighs about the same.

Drove home last night and could easliy have a conversation in the car with the roof off, with almost no wind noise.

Quiet when pootling, and an awesome raw when booted. Needas a BOV, turbo spoolup noises, and to spit flams and then she's be perfect :)

Aparently it's 45liters to a tank .. and she'll do about 220/230 miles to a tank .. so I've not got better MPG.

She's also an import, meaning the high compression 247bhp engine, but only runs on Optimax .. so I've not got cheaper fuel.

But I've got a roof that goes up and down in 6 seconds and a big red starter button :D

It will do more than 220 miles on 45 litres (10 gallons), I would expect more like 300, and definitely better than a tubby. But it's all down to how you drive it I suppose. B)
