Xenon Light Conversion & Neon Lights

Hi,

I have a couple of questions:

1. I have a AE92 Corolla GTi and was thinking about doing a conversion to xenon lights as they are a lot brighter (and look cool B)). How much work does this require? I've been told the kit costs around £200? Where would I get this from?

2. I want to install neon lights under my car. I think LED ones are best for this. I keep hearing different things about having them switched on when driving. Is it illegal or not?

Completely illegal when used on the public highway no problem when used at shows.

However you also may have a problem even if they are not actually being used on the public highway but are capable of being, particularly if you encounter a particularly PITA traffic copper (and lets face it there are a few of them around....)

Are they hard to install? Can you do it yourself or do you have to go to a specialist to install the HID kit?
