Water Leak

Hello everyone,

My Gen 7 Celica has developed a small leak. It's a small amount of a colourless liquid (water probably) dripping from the floor of the chassis towards the back of the engine compartment level with the back of the front wheel. I notice a few drops falling after driving the car and parking it. No signs of any problems though - handling and everything else is perfectly normal. Engine temperature perfectly steady as always and not rising. No warning lights inside. Has anyone else seen this kind of thing before?

Thanks and safe motoring to you all.

Have you been using your Air Conditioning by any chance ??

Quite normal to see a little water coming out of the Condensor when you park up and switch off.

Hi Mick,

Many thanks for replying to my post. Yes, I always have the air-con turned on at its lowest setting whenever I'm driving. Also had the air-com re-gassed by Mr. T a few months ago. Thank you for putting my mind at rest. Now I know.

PS : Love your quote - On the edge or in the hedge - excellent!

Best regards,

loanranger

go on.... how does it work???

It's a way of fine tuning the mixture - helpful when you have a modded engine running a Stage3 Dyno jet kit.

Go to :

It's easier for you to read it than me to type it
