Evening folks!

Tonight I have mostly been... cleaning my car in preparation for the Envy Performance meet in Newcastle tomorrow.

Once I ewas finished I thought it was a shame that by the time I got there is would be covered in flies and crud again before people took pics. So I decided to pop out and take some pics (this was at about 9pm  ).

Here are 2 of the ones I took. I promise that the only changes I've made are to photoshop out the number plate and shrink them down to a reasonable size. I have done nothing to alter the colours - it just hapened to be like that

Yeah, whenever...

Car's not nearly as clean as it looks in the pics though - you're far enough away not to see the fly maks and stone chips

That's less funny than you think! All the midgies and bugs seemed to be attracted to the autoglym polish I was using. My polishing cloths are covered in freshly squashed insect. Then when I was taking the pics these were flies everywhere!

I knew someone would mention the sheep :P

Well, you know, there's not much to do up here in Inverness...

(and the girls aren't that attractive either)

Those pics look great, Alan. Good work, mate!

My polishing cloths are covered in freshly squashed insect.

That is the most bizarre thing I have read in a long time.

I'd have been a little sheepish about showing that pic, Alan. Maybe you should have photoshopped them out and you wouldn't be getting such a roasting. I apologise for the lambentable puns brought on by my wooly thinking.

...and in summary I would like to say that I hate you all  (especially you and your puns, Jones <_< )

Clarky: you probably did the right thing... This part of Scotland is wonderful to look at but sometimes can be a bit wearing to live in when you're our/my age ;)

Anyhow, the car is now filthy again and the front is totally plastered in flies - pics to follow when I can be bothered...

I dunno Alan ... I reckon the benefits outweigh the negatives sometimes.

We'll see - might go for the happy comprimise and move to the lake district!
