My understanding is that the w58 transmission was offered with several different extension housings that placed the gearlever 455mm,525mm,etc. from the transmission face. Does anyone know what years or models had the 455mm housing fitted? Thanks

I think the shorter bell housings were on the mkiii supras, and the longer bellhousings on the mkivs....

I only say this because I know if #

I fit a mkiv six speed to my car I need to move the gear lever bracket forward about 4"!!!
