Lowering Springs

Hi guys, ive recently bought some Rev3 lowering springs off eBay for my Rev2. The advert did say that they've had the bottom ring cut off to make them lower. Now ive had an email thru from a 3rd party saying that they're only for sale because they're dangerous and wont fit properly. Anyone advise?!? :(

doesnt sound like lowering springs to me, just standard springs that would be cut to make them lower...

Yeah, I wouldnt use the springs if they are cut.

They will be too soft for one, and will probably bottom out the shocks everywhere.

Also could be dangerouse, whos to say they are all the same cut etc etc..

NEVER CUT SPRINGS!

I've got a set of Eibach Pro-Kit Rev3 springs (-25mm) for sale. £100... buyer arranges collection or delivery.

If anyone's keen I can bring them to JAE in my mates car.
