Fuel And Temp Gauges Not Working

Hi all,

My fuel and temp gauges are kapput! Does anyone have any advice on how to fix them?

Should a regular mechanic be able to fix this, or do I need to go to a Toyota Garage?

Will it cost me a packet?

Check your dome fuse a load of things on my dash packed up when that fuse went.

Check your Gauge fuse or Cigarette Lighter fuse also.

Thanks for the replies. Are these things I check myself (being fairly rubbish under the bonnet)?

Yes they are rich, just check your user manual and you should see where they are.. the metal in the fuse would appear broken if the fuse is gone..
