Clouds Of Smoke

Has anyone got any ideas why my beloved Lucida belches clouds of smoke after I have been sat at traffic lights for a few minutes. It will also happen when going up hills. Once I am cruising the old girl seems to be fine. Is this something I should be concerned about, other than blinding the driver behind.

Sounds like it is overfueling to me if the smoke is a dark colour - when's the last time the diesel and air filter was changed ??

Glad to help

Garage hourly rate's are going up and up,so the more you can do yourself - the better it will be in the long run of the ownership of the vehicle.
