Satnav & Trip Computer

I've just bought a '52 Corolla T-Spirit with the full colour sat-nav. Am I being stupid here, as I can't find any trip computer stuff!?! There's nothing in the manual about it but surely you don't pay for a £2000+ stereo/sat-nav upgrade and loose the trip computer?

Help me please as it's bugging the hell out of me!!

I've fitted the same head unit in my Rav4, I know all the connections on the rear and as far as I'm aware (someone correct me if I'm wrong) theres no where to connect the trip connector to so I'm affraid it's probably not supported.

Well if that's true, it's pathetic!! I'm shocked that the top line system doesn't do something the very basic entry level model does!
