Just wondering what the insurance is like on these for say like 20 yr olds. Id really like one in a couple of years time! if theres any left.

Uk specs tend to be cheaper to insure - but expect to pay through the nose for it...

and dont even think about it with anything less than 4-5 years NCB..

hey,im 20 and ive got a quote for when im 21 and Ive been quoted £990 f/cwith mod's such as alloys, full exaust and induction kit. thats for a uk spec twin turbo! which its extremely cheap thats with elephant.co.uk.

Was paying £700 Full Comp on my UK TT, since gone to an Import N/A and gone down to £500 ;)

why are supra TT so cheap to insure compared with skyline r33 and r34's, evo's, scooby etc? they want about £3700 for me on a skyline r33 and £990 for me on a supra TT

where are you geting these quotes from i cant get any under 1400 for a jap TT im 21 with 2 ncb looking for a 1994/95 one

thats price sounds a about right, i will av 4 years ncb time i come to insure a supra, but try www.elephant.co.uk

Insure the supra as a classic ;)

im 23 with 1yrs ncb and i pay £500 full comp

Can you insure the car as a classic with any insurer and if not who do you use Leeky? Your secret will be safe with us :)

I cant say :D The guy who told me about this little loop hole i swore to i wouldnt tell the world about this.

But....do a google using the words "classic car insurance" ;)

im paying £420 on my mk3 turbo, and its good to see

youlot rip your heir out like i did once, but you will find good insu,

like lee says look for classic.

There are TWO points not mentioned above which are important whilst attaining CLASSIC insurance.

Firstly: classic insurance takes NO account of NCB. Tough but true.

Second: The car CANNOT be your main car. You will need regular insurance on your other car (some specialists will insure your classic as a main but will limit the mileage)

Most companies will insure on classic if; you have two years full licence history, over 21 years old, have larger excess written in, and restricted mileage.

My supra turbo mk III was insured today f/c, excess of 250, free breakdown cover and legal for £266.83. Not bad- about a month's worth of wine tokens. :wacko:

"supra" is a fairly broad spectrum of cars...

there IS more then one type of supra you know..........
