Dunno if this is any help, but,

In my 5th gen there is a skicker in the glove box that states what the tyre pressure should be.

else i would go with 30 - 32 psi all round.

On my one there is a sticker on the inside of the drivers door. Probably the same on yours. Load of jap writing if you got an import.:lol:

Correct tyre pressure for ST205 (UK spec) are:

Up to 130 mph: 34 psi (2.4bar) - all loads

Over 130 mph: 39 psi (2.7 bar) - Reduced loads (1 passenger)

46 psi (3.2 bar) - Up to full rated loads.

Compact Spare - 60 psi (4.2 bar)

Tyre size: 215/50R16 90W

Looks like you may have oversize tyres fitted.

 hi

just a question ref the quote?????

were did these come from????

as i find it hard to belive that more pressure is required for the faster speed??because when i race my 88 celica i start the stage with 25psi in the tyres(on tarmac) and when i take presure readings at the end off the stage there upto 32-35 psi??

The pressures quoted are straight from the Celica Owner's handbook.
