Going to purchase an MR-S that has been inported from Japan. This is a 51 reg and only has 19k on the clock. Could anyone give me some advice on this please and is 8999 a good price?

If it's any help, when i bought mine, i saw a 51 plate UK spec for sale at the dealer for £11.000.. didn't get any more details. but £8999 in comparison seems ok to me if it's in good condition.
