I have a Celica 1996 import and have just bought a Pioneer DEH-3700MP cd/mp3 player.

The existing wiring will not fit the stereo. Can anyone advise on a suitable ISO adapter?

These are the two leads on my Celica...

Thanks in advance,

Phil.

same lead as used on the UK model btw

Apparently I have amplified Speakers, so I need a special connector.

I went to Halfords - they didn't have one in stock, but ordered me one for £29.99

This is the standard wiring, which as you can see is a lot different to mine...

There's loads of standard ISO adapters on eBay, just search for 'toyota iso'.

Cheers.

its different to mine , those metal connections go up and down = I, where as mine go left to right. = _ . THE Halfords ADAPTOR I HAVE WILL BE NO GOOD FOR THAT WIRING ,its no good for mine either as mine wont keep the radio stations in the memory , yet the stock unit works just fine.

GT4 Booster have you tried swaping the permanent live and the live over, when i got my celica it had a panasonic aftermarket headunit in but i wanted to put my jvc one in. The panasonic kept it's memory but my jvc would not when i fitted it so swapped the to lives over and it works fine now.

i think the lead that you are looking for is the one for the MR2 super live system if it's the same one as mine. 10 speaker system?

Sorry for the late reply, it was a nightmare to fit! I can't get it flush, but it's good enough. Obviously the Japanese fittings are totally different to our own. My next job is to get the effin aerial to pop up. I can hardly get any stations as it is. If yer gonna buy an import, please be prepared for this!!!
