Anyone Got A Sony Ericsson K700i Working?

From some earlier research it had seemed that the Sony Ericsson K700i was a suitable phone to bluetooth with my Prius.

However, I can't seem to get it paired up properly. I can get the Prius to ask for the code (1212) and if I send the wrong code from the mobile phone it complains that it got the wrong code - but if I send the right code nothing happens and it just sits there on the waiting screen with a cancel button.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Cheers

Hi,

My Dad has just bought a new prius and a Sony K700i and we had no problems setting it up. However the only thing that I can suggest is that you start again with a new passkey and have your phone ready to connect as soon as the screen that tells you comes up, and instantly press to search for a new device.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion, I've got the phone registered with the car now.

Next hurdle - address book transfer!

Cheers

Hi,

I tried what was suggested but still can't get it to connect (have a P900); am I missing something really obvious?! I was told by Toyota that any bluetooth phone would work!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Had the P900 as well but it does not work! Swapped it for a P910 and it works wonderfully. Don't waste anymore time try to get it work. p.s. does not work with any slim Samsung phones so don't get one of those either!
