Tns300 Query

Does anyone know if there are any differences between the TNS300 with standard display in the upper dash and the colour display you get in some later models? other than the obvious one is B/W and one is colour.

Both appear to be tagged as a TNS300 which got me to thinking if I was to get hold of the colour display unit would it work with my existing box and DVD or do I need to replace the whole job lot?

Any ideas anyone?

I use to have the Full Screen Nav Head unit fitted in my Rav4 with the tape drive (not DVD) but needed the external TNS300 DVD box with the Satalite receiver in to make it work, as I couldn't get hold of a TNS300 for a reasonable price I replaced the whole lot for the all in one head unit, so I think if you did get hold of one it would I/F OK.
