hi my name is john and im from north wales yesterday i traded my ford escort

for a k reg celica gt-i16 2.0 ( first jap car ever !!!!!!!! )

could you ladies and gents shed some light of what should i be enjoying and mantinace sugestions( sorry spelling )

and could any of you tell me the spec of the car i have purchased :help:

Hi matey and welcome...generally just do an Oil change every 3/5 000 miles. And make sure the cam belt has been redone it needs changing at 60k and 120k.

Apart from that get in it drive it and watch the huge smile appear on yer face!!!

You've got 154bhp, a 0-60 of 8.5 secs, and a top speed just short of 140mph

These are the factory specs. Tinkered with models may vary a little in their output. And age alters things as well.

Removing the CAT frees up some nice torque, and also gives better fuel consumption. And a free flowing backbox also helps a lot in the performance stakes.

A set of 17" alloys will enhance the looks hugely. Interior colour changes also make a big difference.
