New Transponder Key , Cost ?

Hi any body know what toyota charge for a new transponder and key and to programme it into my car, had ther RAC out and my transponder has gone up the swanney, car wont start

Seek out an independant locksmith. I had the same prob with my Audi, £170 Dealership, £35 at an independant. Not original fob, but what the hell, it works?

£135 incl. VAT last weekend at Harry Feeneys - Blackpool dealership. I was expecting around £180 as per many of the posts.

is it just the key u need? I think i have a key laying about somewhere, with the transponder in, just needs programming to your central locking unit. PM me if your interested.
