Ok i'm lowering my GXI this weekend with 40mm drop springs. Front of the car was done and dusted within an hour but now i'm stuck. I can't seam to undo the ball joint bolt on the anti-roll bar linkage. I've tried WD40, and vice grips but still no luck just keeps on turning.

:ffs: so I have nice slamed car at the front but sticking up at the back

PLEASE HELP!! two hours turning bolts and still no joy!

Those rear links can be real tough.

Best not to undo them, leave em as they are and change the springs that way.

Use compressors, undo the top 3 bolts and the top single bolt, then wiggle out the shock till you can take off the top mount and take off the spring.

It worked with my e10!

thanks,

Kamran
