Advice Needed

I have a small problem with the Mr2 G-Limited I have just bought...

When the doors are closed, the driver side window does not sit back onto the vertical window seal (ie. the seal on the pillar between front and rear side windows). Instead there is a small gap (about 1mm) where I can see straight through into the car from the outside.

This makes for a noisy drive and I haven't yet experienced what it would be like in heavy rain!

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a problem wirh the seal? I don't think it's the door alignment as the door seems to be sitting flush and there is no problem with the seal at top of the window.

Any help would be appreciated!!

you can adjust thw window itself in about 7 different ways, ie forwards bacwards, up down, in out, and the tilt angle

ill see if i can get a good snap shot from the repair manual :)
