Question About Connecting The Amp!

Having finally fitted my stereo i thought it was all done and working until i heard my mates new mr2. His sub was alot louder. I believe the problem is that my amp isnt connected as there is some slight noise coming out the standard sub box.

Anyone know how to connect it or what the original colour wire is as i tried to follow them but couldnt find the correct wire and it started raining so i couldnt be ubikd carrying on.

figured it out now ive had a bit off sun..the person before had wired the sub with out the amp been wired to it.....going to put my old 800w Boss amp on instead ready for when i get my head around how to set up my subs and 6x9's
