After lots of swearing at the heavy rain recently and many days of getting wet on my way to work

ive finally cured the leaks - amazing what you can do with a tube of black silicone!

Anyway it tipped it down today and not a single drop! :D

id recommend this technique to anybody with the same problem

Where did you get the black silicone from and what did you do with???

Got it from B & Q and Put it in the places that i thought it was leaking from and then put cling film over and put the t-bar back down,

you have to get one that 'sets' , some stay tacky and this is not the one you want ;)

I can confirm this work, looks a bit iffy when you take the t-bars off tho and u have the imprint of the gaffer tape on there.

Does it not look a bit rough?

Jim swears his halfords silicone spray is the way forward!

Yes it does look a tad rough but only because i havent got round to tidying it up, but i never take the t-bars off anyway - i feel like a right poser! Dont know why i bought t-bar actually!
