I filled up on Friday at Tesco and it was 88.9p! I had to look twice at the pump too..

Cant believe it's gone to over a £1 now in some places!

this is NOT a good time for fuel..........

Just Paid £1.00.9 for Optimax In Harlow.................. :ffs:

The government really has to step in and reduce taxes on fuel.

Inflation is around 3%, Job wages rise around the same yearly but Petrol has shot up over 10% in 8 days.......................OUCH VERY OUCH

yep, 75% of the money you pay for petrol is..... TAX....

and bear this in mind - the 10p per litre fuel has risen in the last week - 7.5p of the increase goes directly to the goverment...

so we are actually only paying an extra 3p per litre for the fuel...

i used to use esso supreme near my old work, just before the prices went crazy.

now, my nearest is BP or Shell. i noticed the Optimax no longer advertises itself as 97 RON, just as low sulphur. and this is at 99.9p!

i had also noticed my car seemed a bit less responsive, so today i bit the bullet and paid 102.9 for BP Ultimate, and it seemed to make a difference.. anyone else noticed?

I paid 108.98/litre on wednesday, I still claimed it back from the company

Drove past and saw it up at 99.9p for 'UNLEADED' not super, just 95ron

£1 per litre is well and truly here folks  :crybaby:

Thats where I live and that garage actually had it over 100p the other day. I don't know how it does it with the total garage opposite always a couple of p cheaper!

Why were you driving through Chesham!
