What Small Car Is Best After The Yaris?

we are slightly biased possibly over how good the yaris is, but what is the next best new supermini out there that is not german and that does an auto or clutchless manual.

not a diesel either

please give a valid opinion for ur choice, not cos it comes in a nice colour or it looks cute.

my dad has the yaris at the moment but wants to change, the new yaris is an option. options he is also considering at the moment are the C3 and the new colt. personally after the yaris, i prefer the colt

thanks

Jay

I've heard good things about the Colt. Definitely worth a test drive, I'd have thought.

I've heard very good things about the Honda Jazz! I just wish they would bring out a Type-R!

Just type "colt road test" into Google (UK, mind) and you'll see what I mean. Some very favourable reviews.

best thing is it looks better than the yaris and the turbo is only a few quid more than the yaris t-sport, std bhp is only 110bhp apparantly, but its a mitsi engine so winding that up aint gonna be a problem

my dad cant get the turbo as its a manual, he damaged his left knee many years ago.

the choice would be the 5dr 1.3 or 1.5 AMT petrol if it were the colt

I'm going to chime in with everybody else and say Mitsubishi Colt. It (and the Skoda Fabia vRS) are the only two small cars that will be up for contention when it comes to changing my car in a few years time.

(PS You're not related to Breezer are you? ;) )
