Was in the lounge of my usual pub, having lunch, when the owner came in from the bar , switched channels & shouted for everyone to watch what was happening, Couldn't believe it, thought it was from a film. Then the second one hit! Felt sick. & don't think I ate another bite. :ffs:

I was in the Sports bar at Disney Paris, waiting for our train home. Same as lots of others, I thought the first one was a bad fire, and my jaw hit the floor as we watched the second plane hit. Couldn't help thinking what must have been going through the poor plane passengers and office workers minds as they realised what was about to happen to them. Still makes me shiver. Been a different world since, too.
