Fuel Starvation?

I have a 1990 Carina II and today it began stalling!

I've checked the plugs - timing - distibutor etc. without identifying any fault.

I've now noticed that the fuel level visible in the fuel filter in only about 1/3 - 1/4 full.

I can't recall it being this low previously. This suggests to me that the fuel pump isn't performing as it should?

Does anyone have any ideas - is a fuel pump a dealer ony part - is there a repair kit for it?

Many thanks

Help!!!!

Eventually decided that the Pump was working OK.

Stripped the Carb and cleaned the Slow Jet. Car no longer stalls - Very Pleased with myself!!
