Can anyone please help? I have an orange oil can with a wiggly line under it that keeps lighting up intermittently on my Lucida. I've checked under the bonnet and I can't see any levels of fluid that are low, any ideas what this means???

Thanks, Jackie. (North Devon)

Sounds like the oil level light. It being intermittant also back this up.. are you sure the oil level is not low???

When you turn ont eh car and all the lights light up, are there two oil lights? (one for level one for presure)?

Yes I have got two 'oil' lights, one red and the other is this orange one with the line under it. The oil reservoir under the bonnet has enough oil in it, but I haven't checked the one under the front seat, would they have different levels in? I thought they were connected? I'm beginning to wish I'd got a copy of a translated manual!!!

Thanks for your help, Jackie.

Doesn't it have a dipstick?

The oil level sensors are notorious for going faulty, and coming on when they shouldn't. Unfortunately, that's worse that being low on oil, as a new sensor is not cheap.
